Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt, the cabinet minister for Department for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sports said that he is delighted to provide message of support to GFEST- Gaywise FESTIval.

GFEST – Gaywise FESTival is recognised as London’s annual LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgeder) cross-art, cross-venues festival. Supported by the Mayor of London, this year’s  GFEST programme will be announced soon on the web: http://www.gaywisefestival.org.uk

GFEST 2010 dates are: 8 November to 21 November.

Mr Hunt has extended his  support to the festival from 2008 and helped launch GFEST 2008 at the Houses of Parliament.

The Full statement of support reads as:

“I am delighted, once again, to provide a statement of support for the GFEST – Gaywise FESTival. Now in its 4th year, the Festival is an extremely popular event in the LGBT calendar and is an exciting platform for both London and the arts.

This year, the work of national and international artists will be on display as part of the Festival’s fantastic programme and the V & A and National Gallery, amongst other landmark venues, are hosting events.  I wish all involved every success.”
