The two-week festival, starting on 10 November, will be held at venues across London.  Stonewall will be screening its hard-hitting No Bystanders film at the Rich Mix in Shoreditch and encouraging attendees to join the campaign and take a stand against discrimination of all kinds.

GFEST artistic director, Niranjan Kamatkar said, ‘We are pleased with the community partnership support to Gaywise Festival 2014 events by Stonewall UK.  With Stonewall’s ‘No Bystanders’ campaign involvement at GFEST films events at Rich Mix, we can send a strong message that in 2014 we cannot tolerate the culture of casual homophobia in any walk of life.’

Ruth Hunt, Stonewall Chief Executive, said ‘The LGBT community’s greatest strength is its diversity and creativity. Events like GFEST are a fantastic celebration of everything that we can achieve together. We’re incredibly proud to be supporting an event that allows everyone to come together and be themselves.’

No Bystanders will feature as part of GFEST’s film screenings at the Rich Mix from 15-18 November. You can see the full programme at
