GFEST – Gaywise FESTival, recognised as ‘London’s LGBT & Queer Festival for all’ had a launch reception yesterday in the UK Parliament. David Lammy, MP, hosted the launch reception for GFEST 2010 and the event was attended by Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone,  South Bank Centre’s artistic director Jude Kelly and Margot James, MP.

GFEST 2010 starts next week on Monday 8 November and events are

planned for every day during the next 2 weeks until 21 November.

The organisers of the festival have appealed to artists, art enthusiasts, tourist visiting to the UK capital and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT)  community members to help spread a word and attend the exciting events.
