GFEST – Gaywise FESTival, London’s LGBT and Queer festival for all, released further details of this year’s short film programme that will take place at Rich Mix Cinema in East London. GFEST 2010 films will be screened on 11, 12 and 13 November 2010 with two screenings each night, first one at 7.30PM and the second at 9.30PM. The Film screenings are suitable for 18+ audiences.
GFEST 2010 short films details are announced: Screening 1: Thursday 11 November at 7.30PM and Saturday 13 November at 9.30PM (18). Films that will be screened: EL MUEBLE DE LAS FOTOS, BROKEN, DELPHINIUM: A CHILDHOOD PORTRAIT OF DEREK JARMAN, PICTURES OF ZAIN, IDENTITY CRISIS, DRUM HEART
Screening 2: Friday 12 November at 7.30PM and Thursday 11 November at 9.30PM (18). Films that will be screened: KISS BOXING, MAKE A MATE, CHAGALL’S LITTLE GOAT, MIX BREED, MOSAIC: LOVE AND MARRIAGE, ALLES AN MIR
Screening 3: Saturday 13 November at 7.30 PM and Friday 12 November at 9.30PM (18). Films that will be screened: THE JONESES, DADDY’S BIG GIRL, DESIGIRLS!, THE CHEF’S LETTER, CANNIBALS, PROTECT ME FROM WHAT I WANT
There are ‘free entry’ and fun events such as GFEST 2010 art party on 12 November starting at 10 pm and guests are advised to ‘dress up as works of art, bring out best DIVA costumes and party the night away!’
GFEST 2010 film cafes will take place on 11, 12 and 13 November between 6.30 and 7.25 PM. These are informal advice sessions led by film Industry experts for potential and young LGBT filmmakers.
