Filmmaker Stoo Iresen will be screening his film Drum Heart as part of  GFEST – Gaywise FESTival 2010 Film Screenings @ Rich Mix, 35 – 47 Bethnal Green Road, London, E1 6LA / Box Office: 020 7613 7498 /£8.50, £6 Cons.  GFEST 2010 film screenings will be on 11, 12, 13 Nov 2010 with two screenings each night, first one at 7.30PM and  the second at 9.30PM.

Stoo’s film ‘Drum Heart’ is an exploration of the emotional state of a fragile young man – desperately clinging to his lover and using self destructive tactics in order to keep their relationship from ending.

Stoo Iresen trained in Film and Communications at Goldsmiths College. He is currently working on a set of related shorts depicting young men caught in various internal and external prisons.

He is also currently expanding upon the technique of combining live action with animation or drawn elements.
