Marcus Reeves at GFEST 2009

An award winning and talented GFEST 2010 Performer and Writer Marcus Reeves studied at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design before moving into music and theatre. As a singer-songwriter and cabaret artist, he has performed across many London venues. In 2007, Marcus won The Peggy Ramsay Foundation award.

Marcus is the only artists in any catagory who is selected to participate, for all four years in a row, for GFEST.

Marcus talks on camera about his songwriting, performance and also speaks about the recent suicides of gay teens  who faced pressures due to bullying in the USA in the film below.

He will be presenting an exciting ‘GFEST – Gaywise FESTival’ 2010 Performance @ Cochrane Theatre, Southampton Row, Bloomsbury, London WC1B 4AP. Box Office: 020 7269 1606 on Fri 19 Nov at 7.30PM.

Now in its fourth year, GFEST is supported by the Mayor of London, dignitaries, Ministers and MPs from all the leading parties, various London boroughs and Arts Council England.
